Amongst the initial projects undertaken by PABStudio, this elementary school in Amritsar was envisioned and designed as a massive interactive toy for children to delight in exploring. The classrooms encircle a central amphitheater, connected by a whimsical ramp adorned with playful rough brickwork and charming peepholes. At every turn, the design encourages laughter and learning, with features like an open-air singing class, a joyful splash pool, and uniquely color-coded classrooms. Ensuring a welcoming environment, the entrance flaunts a semicircular design with a symbolic tree of life motif. The scale of the school mirrors that of a cozy home, fostering a comfortable atmosphere for the young minds to thrive without feeling overwhelmed.
