At PABStudio, we are dedicated to crafting architectural solutions that cater to the unique needs of our clients. One such project that exemplifies our commitment to innovative design is the school located on a bustling road in Amritsar. Recognizing the need for a serene learning environment, we proposed an introverted design that centred around an amphitheater, providing a tranquil oasis amidst the urban chaos. To further shield the students from the noise, we incorporated freestanding brick screens, not only serving a functional purpose but also adding a touch of whimsy to the structure. A decade later, as the school evolved, we embarked on a major renovation, introducing a tensile structure on the flat roof to expand the play area. The Tensile roof transformed the amphitheater into an all weather space and improved the microclimate of the building making the classrooms cooler. This transformation highlights our adaptability and vision for sustainable architectural solutions that stand the test of time.
